Skylar Baker, Lucas Crowe, Jorge Gallegos, and Jachob Horvath, students at Daniel Morgan Technology Center, have secured positions in the esteemed BMW Rising Scholar Apprenticeship Program. This BMW initiative allows high school seniors to dedicate part of their day to hands-on training at the BMW Training Center. After a rigorous junior-year interview process, they stood out among their peers and were chosen, along with 13 others from Spartanburg and Greenville counties.
Through a notable partnership, the SC Technical College System, Apprenticeship Carolina, BMW MC, and the career centers of Spartanburg and Greenville Counties united their efforts. These students were celebrated at the BMW Zentrum on August 15, where Dr. Julie Fowler, Superintendent of Spartanburg School District 3, highlighted the value of their participation. Graduating this year, they'll progress to the BMW Scholars program at Spartanburg Community College, a testament to their remarkable journey. #DMTCPrepares #BMWRisingScholar
