This challenging endeavor called for the skilled use of Metal Lathes and Milling Machines. Aiden meticulously crafted 21 pieces, including 4 intricate gears. 😲 That's a grand total of 148 teeth, cut one by one on the milling machine. 💪 After all that hard work, the moment of truth arrived, and guess what? The inaugural fundraiser by the DMTC Educators Rising chapter raised over $200 for Lahaina wildfire relief. Intro to Teaching/EDU 201 students organized a bake sale, reading personal accounts of those affected beforehand. They baked and sold 16 dozen cupcakes and 6 dozen brownies to faculty and students, ensuring all proceeds go directly to the cause. Mr. Bertrand, your leadership in organizing this fundraiser for Lahaina wildfire victims is greatly appreciated.
